The Night where all my family comes together 大团圆

Usually this is a whole day reunion for me. From my house back to Klang to my mum's side grannies where different variety of food will be prepared. My grandparents from my mum's side, I am hokkien. although can't speak fluently but Livee agree that there's some improvement right. i had my lunch there... and this year, my aunty cooks! Yes... she did.. Not bad!! Curry chicken and teo chu cha! Nice.... U Passed!! haha.... but popo, thanks for all the good food. I know u woke up really early morning to cook n' we're there to eat.. paiseh.. But thanks popo with the traditions love, we will pay it forward.

this is the time of the year where the family will sit together, makan the homecook food that everyone prepared... and that's the time we're all here to catch up with each other. No boundaries of work, thinking nothing... jus chill and be together... laungh together... jus like me n' beii's one... SUSU LEMBU!! haha memang the grand daughters of Mdm Lim Siew Hong! haha. It's abit xxx.. not to mention here...

Siao Jiu is back from Malacca... with two malacca cutties.. they hv grown so much. look like twins... Livee, the patient one... applying nail polish for them... so nice of her... and beii is like keep feeding tipbits to mei mei and u know, beii will always have her weird way to be in relationship!!! haha...

This is the afternoon session of my reunion. I had such a fullfilling lunch. Yummy..

Reunion dinner at my father's side. Tradition dishes that prepared by all my aunties and my mum. Every year we have almost the same dishes but yet it's always delicious. and what so diff for me this year is i am sitting in the round table and eat together since my 3rd uncle is late. The round table usually can fit only 10 pax so I am IN this year eating at the table with my grandma after 23 years... such a memorable one for me actually.. I am now an adult in my family.

It's Gong Gong's Birthday!!

It's Gong Gong's birthday last weekend. I didn't have time to blog about it.. and yes.. i am loaded with work. But since today i am still in office jus waiting my FA to printout.... i have some time here to blog! It's gong 85 years old birthday!! and of course the whole family is here to celebrate this meaningful day of his!

and our Aussie cousins are all back to the mother land!! Ta jie jie is back! Don't tell me i didn't post ur pic out because u don't want to take picture with me ok! =( sob sob!! haha... But too bad, daniel and woanni is goin back in 3 days time! I will be in Melbourne this April. Hope there's a chance to meet up ya!

The Small Pre- CNY reunion with My dear Friends!

It's the Mini Reunion 小團圓 dinner that my mum has prepared for my friends here since I have friends from Penang, Johor tht so long nv go home and makan. My friendly mum is always so generous and nice! this is only part of the dishes... My dad even tapau fish head curry, mutton curry and chicken curry back home for the dinner. See, i told u, Chinese new year is really a happening things in my house which it's good because this will carry forward to our next generation...That night I have VIP Shirley, Woei Tyng, Hank, Karen, Mickey Ng, Ming Foo, Hong Seng and Adrea in my house. So it's a fun night having them around my house. We really loud like no body business that night!

1 more day to Chinese New Year...

Jus another day to Chinese New Year... Usually i have my CNY mood much more earlier but not this year.. Not so much! Maybe i am getting older and wiser each year.. so it's not like a BIG thing for me anymore. Usually i will crazy shopping for deco, flowers, biscuits, BAJUs and whatever red red that i can find. Really, this year... No longer shopping, less decoration and no baking cupcakes as I told Woei Tyng we gonna bake this year.. NEways, We gonna do it on valentine.

It's freezing!! We're at the flower storage freezer... and as usual, Fai and I will stand aside... and mom will be like busy choosing her flower, and only once in a year, my dad will jus have his thoughts in silent and have my mum to do whatever she wants and at the same time, posing for us with the bunch of flowers that my mum pass it to him to pay at the counter... Cash Please...

As usual, the 2nd last day on counting down to CNY, My dad will usually bring us to petaling street for flowers. It's like the malaysia version of "逛花市". Vibrant's of flowers... Crowded with people... but this is one thing that i am looking forward every year.

I think for the pass few years.. people keep asking them is this 牙菇? Beh tahan d, this year, they jus like, whatever la... write it down!! haha. and my mum as usual with her cold jokes... she's like "You know why they write that down, because they bring home, and they steam the plant and eat it." ya.. that's the other side of my mum for those that haven't know her well enough!

We're not getting any Pussy Willow this year because the cherry blossom at the florist is too overwhelming... can u picture urself in the garden and cherry blossom falls down from the tree and slip through ur face. That's what i was thinking at the moment. I wonder what my dad is thinkin, but yes.. we bought that back! n' now is in the dining hall of my house. It's beautiful. Well, CNY, i have to admit that my house is one of the prettiest place u should visit because with my mum's creative flower arrangement and decoration. once in the year my house is super clean and beautifully decorated! haha... should make it as a long term thing... i know..!!

Is everyday a valentine for you? Me, Yes... so indulge with love n' laughter with my Family, BF and of course my dear lovely friends here... Valentine's day is around the corner, usually i will scratch my head off to think of what to get for my boo.. I am sure I'm not the only one...

Since a very long time ago, boy r the one who get us beautiful roses on this specific day that all girls would like to have but poor bf of ours usually get it for triple or double price of the usual ones...

So this year, Shirley, Hank and I came out with this everlasting Lovely-lollies handmade flowers idea to save our problem of getting gift or flowers for Valentine. How long can a red rose last? 2 to 3 days. It feels so sweet when we first receive the bunch of flower.. but after that, I will start thinking how am i gonna handle the bunch of flower! am i right?? haha...

I know it's been a while i did not blog.. from 30 hits a day now drop till averagely 12 hits a day!! OMG!!! Am i that blank now... haha... Well, have not been scrapping a while too ever since i'm back from kk and have all my attention on work...

But of course.. Sunshine will never stop being productive with her LO!!

I am back after 2 week of ups and downs with my new start up. Lot's of allignment and balance need to be done once I am coming out from my dad's office to join Shine with Hank. It's not as easy as what i think with my situation now.. Still couldn't let go from my dad's company. Getting off from the company is something i always want... but then somehow there's reponsible n' things to settle. Never knew that i actually kind of treated this company like a part of me... Feel good of goin out yet still not willing to go yet... but anyway.. i will still be part time doin my design n' production work here...

To be frank, this is the place and foundation that actually build out my confident in designing for corporate and coming out with my own style of design... a place that i learn alot from this man which is my dad. Well.. lots of conflict happens between both of us.. but yet.. Dad... I know u always want the best for me!! I know.. and i really appreciate it alot from the bottom of my hard. Sometimes u maybe harsh but i know that's the way u show love and care. I will always be there.. working extra hours even i'm now out there working with something that i want to pursuit. You will always on my mind no matter what.

My 2008

Sunshine's 2008 achievement...

It's the 2nd day of 2009 where usually everyone still very motivated to step in to this new year that we have and start our engine on the goal list that most properly we wrote on somewhere at our brand new nice smell notebook that i have 3 of them in my bag all the time wherever I go. One is for my personal use which is my Starbucks Notebook as well knowing as my journal since my 2 years old journal is overloaded. One more is for my office use, one more is more like my dear diary book where i will write my thoughts and ideas on it, and even will use it for my reading class. So it's half half! Let me share my 2009 life list with u....

Wait... before i get on writing... there's something that i need to reveal since I promise earlier... which is my 2008 achievement list!

- Emailed Malaysia's Famous Wedding Planner, Mr. Stephen Foong, telling him that i am interested in wedding and wanted to learn and explore myself in this industries. Work with him for 8 weddings. 1 of the 8 is royal weddings which held at Berjaya Hotel.

- Turning 23 years old with good health and blessful family and friends.

- Conducted one of these BIG Wedding with VIP Maria Cordero dancing and taking pictures with her personally @ Shangrila, KL (Thanks Stephen for the oppurtunity)

- Launched Bfree Touches

- Conducted a Junk Yard Sales with Beii, Elsee and Lan Leng.

- A makeover session for 1 model from Malay Mail and the end results was post in MalayMail Oct, 2008.

- Conducted my very first grooming course @ SAMC (Shah Alam Medical Centre) around 30 nurses in the class.

- Very first solo training on Team Building, Self development and Sales and Marketing in F-steps. (Hank, Cheers, This is for u!)

- Conquered Mount Kinabalu till Laban Rata

- Know how to float in the pool (Thanks my bro Fai for this)

- Learn Salsa and already finish my beginner class and can start dancing with stranger @ Havana bar (Thanks Woei Tyng for this)

- Do 2 wedding this year. One is with Elaine and 1 is by myself.

- Have my very own blog - started blogging since 15 of January and already have more than 1800 views.

- Start Scraping and loving it. (Thanks Elaine, u r awesome mummy...)

- Did a little flower arrangement in wedding that Elaine and Stephen has thought me.

- I did 3 bridal Makeup

- Went to Singapore on the 6th of November with Woei Tyng to attend the Millionaire Mind Intensive. Erik buddy, Thanks for the unforgettable trip, i Learn so much in that 3 days! You are awesome buddy.

- Sell Sandwich in Singapore with Woei Tyng and Chris and earn about 60 Sing Dollars!! Yippee... Once in a life time experience but it's fun!

- Go against my extreme fear of height and go for the GX5 String & Extreme Bungee Jump with woei tyng, Chris and Galen @ Clarke Quay, Singapore.

- Went to Pulau Tioman for 5 days (Thanks lil Moo moo)

- I have staffed an Advanced Course MA119 with Elane, FJ, Rachel, Nami and Sala.

- I broke an Arrow with my throat

- Seniored LP119 with Mic, Shirley, Esther, Hank, Ron, James and Amreek! (Thanks Mic and 119 for the beautiful Memories)

- Going out for a meal with Matt and Adrea, hank and yew khuay.. Hahaha ",

- I jump down from the poll again!

- Being with my donkey Joey for 1 and a half year already... Going strong...

- Went down to KK for Christmas.

- Being with Beii and jus graduated from LP120 this Dec.

- Going out from my dad's company and going to work part time with him in year 2009.

- Be part of the All LP Rally 2008 Creation Team with Esther, Hank, Jo, Raymond, Keng Yee,

Jeffrey, Kelvin and have my Huge Puzzle that designed by me sticking in AW's wall where there's 160 huge pieces! (Thanks Matt for the encouragement all the way!)

- Watched a play in KL conventional - Beauty and the Beast! (Thank u Erik Buddy for the ticket)

- Bridesmaid of Jo & Raymond on their wedding

- I can open my eyes in the pool

- Learn how to bake cupcakes with my dear sisters.... Woei Tyng & Jin Yee

- Conquer Gunung Angsi

- 4th weekend with LP119

- I read 7 book this year!! yippee... started reading motivational book this March,2008

- Attended Mandarin Reading Class and start writing in Mandarin Once again on aug, 2008

- Blogging with my mummy and now my mum know how to actually function PC herself. Yippee.

- No more fighting with my bro... in a way, we both grow up d loo...

- Last but not least... The proudest achievement that i have with my buddy Shirley is we both

gonna start out our pong chia chia makeover company this year after we have our year 2008 proudest makeover with Hank! Cheng Cheng!!! but hank... pls... maintain!!

As a conclusion, i can say that It's been a really blessful year for me... having my family next to me with love and care, being really tolerance and supportive, my dear friends that always stand by me, a boyfriend that always support me constantly... i don't need to type it down who r those people but u know it the best.... U make my 2008 beautiful... fill with love n' Joy!! Thanks!
